Before Clarity Fades

My inspiration for this project was what Ernst Ludwig Kirchner said:
“Dreams and life, love and knowledge are a part of creativity, but the final, actual core and source of art is mystery”.
To me the core of nature I am trying to represent is mystery. This series is a part of my ongoing interest in abstract interpretation of nature.
Bare trees, snow and blue sky are perfect ingredients for this kind of work. The clarity of trees fading in the snowy mist was my primary perception. The dynamic beauty of this scenery testifies to the mystery of nature. My objective was to bring to light impressions created in imagination keeping always a balance between real and abstraction.
